The Dead aren\u2019t looking to change the musical landscape, but neither are they happy to be \u2018just another rock band\u2019 \u2013 so they infuse every tune with Ebola catchy melodies and riffs you could build a house on. Live, they\u2019re like a sonic hand grenade, going off in all directions, backing up their furious music with a passionate stage show most bands would find hard to match. <\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The Idol Dead believe in the DIY ethos \u2013they started their own label, Raaa! Records, to release their debut \u2018Die on my Feet or Live on my Knees\u2019 \u2026 self-funding \u2026 but for Dark Little Hearts they turned to their fans for help. <\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">An army of iDolls and ZomBoys ordered and paid for the album in advance \u2013 within 6 weeks the band had 100% of what they needed to start the whole process \u2013 and were simply blown away by the dedication and support of their fans. <\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Singer Polly Phluid says \u2018It seems such a great way of making music, asking the fans if they\u2019d like a new album then going and making it for them. Obviously we\u2019re not making money out of this, and have only asked for cash towards the recording. But, it\u2019s created such a great vibe for us, that I can\u2019t imagine not doing this again! Carl and the band worked over 2 months to create the record they really wanted to make \u2013 big riffs, big vocals, big drums and big solos.
